Vuvuzela Games is a home for small, silly, proudly South African games you can play in your browser — no app store, no download, no sign-up.

Why we built it

Most of the games on our phones were made somewhere else, about somewhere else. We wanted games that look and sound like home: taxis on the M1, hadedas at 5am, the uncle who always knows better at the braai.

• Every game is under a megabyte or two, so it’s kind to your data bundle.
• Games only download when you tap Play — the home page stays tiny.
• Played a game once? It keeps working offline.
• Add the site to your home screen and it opens like an app.

The games

• Taxi Surfer — Weave through rush-hour Joburg traffic. Hold on tight and don’t miss your stop.
• Springbok Hunt — Snap a pronking springbok across the Karoo before the sun goes down.
• Braai Master 2026 — Flip the wors, guard the chops and keep the uncles happy.
• Flappy Hadeda — HAAA-DEE-DAAA. Flap through the suburbs at 5am and wake everyone up.
• Seal Dive — Steer a Cape fur seal through the kelp forest. Mind the sharks.
